He suffers from a progeria like syndrome. Mentally he is 13, very normal, but physically he looks 5 times older. In spite of his condition, Auro is a very happy boy. He lives with his mother Vidya(Vidya Balan), who is a gynaecologist.
Amol Arte (Abhishek Bachchan), is young, progressive and is full of ideals. He is out to prove to the world that 'politics' is not a bad word. He is a man with a mission. Auro is Amol's son.

From the looks of it, paa bollywood film seems to be inspired in parts by Robin Williams starer “Jack”, and the Brad Pitt starer “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”. The Progeria part could very well give the Paa Movie a whole new direction and the apparent similarities with those Hollywood movie will be disregarded if the storyline, direction, and action are good.
Touted as Amitabh Bachchan’s most challenging (and the best?) role till date, the movie is a potential hit. Let’s wait for 4th December 2009, yes that’s the release date of Paa.
